Shree Manav Utthan Trust has a firm belief that the process of development is not just meant to be time scaled and target oriented, but should create suitable conditions for empowerment in a sustainable and equity-oriented manner. We strongly believe that the under-privileged people possess the desire and ability to overcome their problems subject to their receiving proper knowledge and resources. Our experience has taught us that positive results of any developmental, educational, or reforming efforts at the grass-root level are only possible through people’s participation. For sustainable results, therefore, we have always ensured active involvement and participation of the community at all levels of its programs implementation through its network of devoted field workers.

  1. Organization has developed status relation with local community, social leaders, delegates of local panchayats, traditional Dai/healers and social leaders and result is 169 volunteers affiliated with SMUT.
  2. Organization has been mobilized 2000 farmers of 17 villages of Sabarkantha district through 3 Farmer’s Producer Organization (FPO).
  3. Mobilized 1225 woman through 100 SHG’s in rural and tribal area.
  4. Provided support to school going children for quality education in 25 Government schools of tribal area of Poshina block.
  5. 10 eco clubs has been formed in 10 villages for conservation of ecology.
  6. Organization has been provided livelihood-oriented skill trainings to 150 tribal youth and woman.
  7. More than 1500 farmers of 20 villages have been adopted sustainable agriculture practices through various organization training programs.
  8. Provided health checkup to 2380 patient through more than 30 health camps with support of various organization and Govt. department.
  9. Aware 1500 man, women and children on climate change reason, effects, and mitigation through “Connect4Climate” campaign.
  10. 407 women has been trained on various enterprises including handicraft, article from bamboo and date palm leaf, making pickle, Papad, Juice etc.
