Objectives

The overall objective of the Organization is to improve the quality of poor people’s life through information and services with the fulfillment of fundamental requirement including education, health, livelihood and infrastructure facilities according to their social requirement and utility. Expansion of our objective is also covering women empowerment, resource development & management and skill development.

SMUT main objective is to develop self-reliant rural communities by applying appropriate technology in resources development & management, quality education, sustainable agriculture, livelihood development and holistic health and hygiene. Its stratagem has been to promote an integrated approach in rural development including skills up grading of the rural youth and establishment of linkages with the welfare program of the Government. SMUT has been giving special attention to encouraging leadership and partaking of women so that they can take active role in collective decisions of the community and to make them aware about their rights.
