Archroma International India Pvt. Ltd. has been actively supporting the sustainable development of rural communities through various impactful CSR initiatives. In Umaraya village, a major challenge students faced was the lack of access to clean drinking water, which negatively affected their studies as they had to walk long distances to fetch water. To resolve this, an RO plant has been installed, ensuring safe and reliable drinking water for the school children and community members. Additionally, in Umaraya village of Padra block, the company facilitated the construction of cattle sheds, as livestock earlier lived in unhygienic conditions and suffered from frequent diseases. This intervention has significantly improved animal health and supported the livelihood of the villagers. Archroma has also introduced the CSR Academic Achiever Award, under which students are encouraged through trophies and cash prizes to excel in education and stay motivated for a brighter future. In Luna village, solar street lights have been installed to address issues of darkness after sunset, which previously increased the fear of crime and restricted social activities. Now, the village enjoys improved safety and residents can freely participate in evening gatherings. Furthermore, the Ayushman Arogya Mandir has been renovated with essential facilities such as medical equipment, yoga mats, tables, and chairs, enhancing access to quality healthcare services for the community. The organization has also supported the construction of a classroom in Vallipura village, where earlier the roof used to leak and there was a shortage of desks and benches. The upgraded infrastructure has created a better learning environment, leading to increased student attendance and interest in education. Through these initiatives, Archroma International India Pvt. Ltd. continues to contribute meaningfully to community welfare, education enhancement, and overall rural development.
